Atheism is not a religion; it is better thought of as a-theism rather than athe-ism. The only factor uniting all atheists is the lack of belief in a god. There are many claims you do not believe - that does not make you a member of thousands of religions, one for each claim.

While atheism is not a religion unto itself, it does require a lot of extraordinary beliefs. You have to believe that everything can from nothing. That order came from chaos. That life came from non-life. That consciousness came from non-consciousness, and that morals came from matter. At least when a magician pulls a rabbit out of his hat, he has a hat. Many atheists assert that the universe came from zero space. How much stuff can you fit in zero space. If you have the faith of an atheist, you can fit a whole universe. I just don't have enough faith to be an atheist.

Atheists do not assert nonsense without evidence the way religious zealots do. For instance say an atheist (not all like you erroneously assert) does believe the universe came from nothing; that is generally understood with the caveat they could be wrong but may never know. For instance upon discovering new evidence then the atheist might reevaluate their position based on that newer evidence. Where as theists generally are immoveable from their positions despite the absence of logic and empirical evidence.
That's precisely why it's been pointed out to you by various members now that your silly declaration, "I just don't have enough faith to be an atheist" is a misnomer. Largely because you exhibit far more faith in a theist answer to questions atheists are willing to 'say we don't know' to. To the point you religiously believe one specific Abrahamic god created all things without one piece of physical evidence.

" Atheistic religion" , its hilarious the way you know how negatively the term religion is seen that you're determined to call atheists such.
While atheism is not a religion unto itself, it does require a lot of extraordinary beliefs.
It only requires obvious one regards belief in a god.

Celsus referred to the 'miracles' as trickery and Jesus a 'magician'.

Being a magician was a popular trade at the times of Moses, Jesus, and today. And before you claim again that Josephus wrote of the 'miracles' of Jesus here is his true perspective...
Josephus notably eschews any details of these miracles, likely because he does not anticipate Jesus to be a significant figure in history. He simply notes that Jesus was believed to be a miracle worker. Whereas Jesus is the focal point of the Gospels, He is a mere footnote in the Antiquities.

On Christ’s miracles, Celsus argues that he worked his miracles by “sorcery” and that they were no more superior to the deeds of the Egyptians and others in the magic arts (6). The miracles are just fables invented by the disciples. Further, Christ’s prediction of his own death was invented by the disciples and his purported resurrection is nothing unique in comparison to the likes of Zamolxis, Pythagoras, and Rhampsinit (7). In fact, the resurrection has its origin in a hysterical female as well as in the wishful thinking of Christ’s followers (8). This is why Celsus ridicules Christians for their use of blind faith instead of reason: “For just as among them scoundrels frequently take advantage of the lack of education of gullible people and lead them wherever they wish, so also this happens among the Christians… some do not even want to give or to receive a reason for what they believe”

He may not of used the specific word 'trickery' but intelligent people not driven to lie for a false god know for a fact his description inferred trickery. As 'magic' relies on deception as in making up stories and creating illusions. "Sorcery" was considered part of the magic arts and you knew that. So you were 'tricked' by the sorcery or you're simply lying again Just_sayin, which is it?

48 [Celsus' Jewish critic]: the Christians deemed Jesus to be the Son of God, because he healed the lame and the blind. and moreover, because, as they assert, he raised the dead. 49. O light and truth! he distinctly declares, with his own voice, as ye yourselves have recorded, that there will come to you even others, employing miracles of a similar kind, who are wicked men, and sorcerers; and he calls him who makes use of such devices, one Satan. - Origen book 2:48-49

I read it and understand it for what it says. He spoke in terms of claims being made by the church then went on to refute them. Either you can't read or you're lying, which is it? Satan has the power to deceive (trick) and not to do divine works. According to your fairytale book...
Revelation 12:9
So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
John 8:43-45
Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a and the father of it. But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me.
Matthew 24:24
For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
2 Corinthians 11:13 &14
13 For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.

Correct except that he's not quoting Celsus. He's putting up a strawman like you do. Citations do no always mean quotations. If you could quote Celsus saying your false claim you would. But you can't. Put up or . Quote Celsus attributing the miracles claimed by Christians that Jesus performed them by divine providence. Or run away again I don't care. You see Just_sayin I've nothing to be desperate about but you do. I never said Celsus claimed Jesus didn't pull off the magic tricks, that's another strawman on your part. Try and use something more than one dimensional thinking here. Origen wrote two books refuting claims Celsus made about christianity that nobody thought was important enough to preserve. As that's the case we can only assume Origen had just enough of Celsus works available to accurately present some of Celsus views but not all. What he does present is accepted by most scholars. The setting is in 248 A.D. The focus of the two books are primarily on the miracles Christ supposedly performed as Origen believes Jesus to be the messiah. Celsus was a henotheist very familiar with Judaism and Christianity but disagreed with monotheism and even more so with Christianity. So naturally whether it's Origen refuting or Celsus positing, the language is going to refer to 'miracles' rather than any other term when referring to the works of Christ in the gospels. But that is not an affirmation on Celsus part of Christ performing miracles as what's left of his works plainly show. He didn't believe him to be divine. You accept that fact don't you?
Celsus knew Jesus did something and thought it to be sorcery. Sorcery as I previously proved to you, is an act of deception that the bible says demons and Satan use to lead people away from god. Origen admits Celsus says some of the 'miracles' happened but then 'slandered' the word by claiming it was the work of sorcery. He also says Celsus claimed Jesus to be a magician. They were considered part of the dark arts along with sorcery, soothsayers...All things the bible says were demonic and meant to deceive Israel and lead them away. What is the only purpose for deception Just_sayin? It's to trick people into believing something that is NOT.
The undeniable fact is Celsus never authenticated any miracles in the gospels as legit divine miracles. Indeed he clearly saw belief in such nonsense as reveling in the ignorance of their own ignorance... so deal with it.
